Day 1 in Iceland 7/9/2015

The families traveling with the group were able to get some sightseeing in today. Some went on glacier tours while others explored Reykjavik or took boats out to view the puffin colony. The girls were able to have their first training session at the club. The girls trained on a field the size of the turf fields at Mazeppa that was completely indoors. Later that afternoon, a couple of girls from the host club took everyone swimming. The pool was heated with geothermal water. They had a second training session with the club's coaching director, Dadi , then watched a professional game with the same team they will be playing on Saturday. After the game, the girls had dinner at the club with both teams then home with their homestay families.
